001 - It’s a New Day’s Year

The past several years have taught many lessons that have challenged me in ways I didn’t think were possible. Learning how to parent young children during a pandemic, spontaneous daycare and school closures, staying connected with your partner, and navigating career growth and development have proven to be more difficult than juggling chainsaws while blindfolded. As hard as it might feel in the moment, it’s important to maintain the perspective that each day is a new opportunity to hit the reset button.

New Year’s Day marks an important milestone for many to commit to a new resolution. This year I’m committing to the idea that change is always an option. If today turns into a mulligan, than tomorrow can be something momentous.

The difference is choosing to be happy and deciding that better things will happen.
